Hey there,
It's been nearly a month since my last post. We just moved and things have been crazy hectic the last couple weeks!! I haven't been making a conscience effort to "work out". However with all the packing, moving, back and forth, cleaning and unpacking, I have been able to still get small work outs in. And I walk Alex to the bus stop every morning, which isn't much but for now it's something. The worst part of all that was when the kitchen was torn appart, we ate out for dinner almost every night. Bad news, I know. With being pregnant too, I didn't necessarily make healthy choices for myself, I picked what I knew I would be able to eat!! Cheese burger here, nuggets there, and oh my goodness, I was so super sick fast food, bleck!
So now we are getting settled into our new home, and I have been to the produce department at the grocery store, lots of fruits and veggies in the fridge!! I feel like I am able to eat healthier, now to just get back to walking everynight... time to break out the umbrella and gloves. Oh and a flashlight. I love fall, it's actually my favorite season, but I love, love, love the longer days of summer. Dark so fast in fall and winter, oh well take the good with the bad (or something like that!)
Okay well, I hope I can be back on here a lot more frequently!!! SO Here we go, have a Happy, Healthy day!!!

I've lost track of what day...
Okay just real quick touch base, as I am on the way out the door!
Went camping last weekend, and it was a great trip, no sickness! It was hot though and I did get in some good exercise, but I didn't eat the most healthy snacks that I could have!! For the most part I didnt do too bad but there were a few things that would normally have been on my naughty list!!!
It's been kinda hard to be motivated to workout, because I have been so tired and/or not feeling well in the evenings, but hopefully that goes away soon!!!
I just had my first prenatal dr appt. it was good, nothing to report, just lots of paperwork and tests!!
I might get a walk in tonight if it's not still 8million degrees outside when I get home from work tonight.
That's about all I have for now... will keep you updated!!

Day 52
Good morning and happy Wednesday to you,
I didn't post yesterday, because there wasn't really anything to post... I didn't sleep well and decided to try to get as much as possible by not going to the last cardio class. I had a headache all day yesterday, and it is still with me this morning. Now that I am pregnant I can no longer take any of the headache medicine that actually makes them go away. I can take acetominaphen. I'll make do. I think a large part of it is caffeen withdrawl, limited amounts of caffeen are okay, but I am absolutly sure that the amount I was drinking is not okay!!!
I got my prenatal vitamins after work last night. I got gummy vitamins, I think they are less likely to make me sick. (Thank you Jordan)
After dinner I went for a walk, it was the same route that I usually go, but seemed to take less time, maybe because I didn't have the dog! and I did have my Ipod so that I could keep steady pace!
Anyway, that's what's going on, working the late shift today, and I think I have to go to the grocery store for camping after work... gonna be a sort of late night!!!

Day 50~
Yeah, It's been a few days since my last post, but I've had a few things going on... Friday after work I had to get everything over to Gregg and Teena's house and priced for the yard sale on Saturday. We were there until around 10:30.
Saturday we got up early to get over to the yard sale that we started at 7am. Thinking that since it was supposed to be blazing hot on Saturday people would be out early! Not so much, was pretty slow in the morning, and pretty slow throughout the whole day actually! I got a quick walk in when I went to hang one last sign! The whole sale was kind of a bust though, we made a little money!
In the evening, we got Alex back from his dad's, so super glad to have him home!
Sunday, we went over and looked at a house that is for rent, we really liked it and it will be so much nicer that living in this stupid apartment complex. We are moving Sept 24th. Then we went to cool off at the river. We came home, ate dinner and I went for a walk.
Oh yeah, I also found out I was pregnant!! Yep that's right, gonna have a baby!! Such a range of emotions going on right now happy excited nervous scared...
I just got home from a walk this evening.
Things are changing for me. This was quite an eventful weekend. I have worked so hard getting healthy and losing weight, I will remain on my healthy voyage, but obviously it will be modified into keeping me and the baby healthy!!!

Day 46~
Good Morning,
Okay, I didn't post yesterday, so I'll give you the rundown; Tuesday night after work, I went for a good walk, Last night I got Jason to go on my walk with me, and when we got back, I didn't feel like I got a really good workout, So I got my ipod and went again!!! I was able to walk much faster and keep steady pace because of the music! Then we sat outside for a while, even though it was hot out, it was more hot in the house, Jason turned the air conditioner on, but then it got so cold... it pretty much only cools the down stairs, so it was 30below in the living room, and still 80 upstairs! We chatted with the neighbors for a while and then it rained like 5-10 rain drops!! There was lightning all around but no thunder that I heard.
Anyway, I got up this morning and went to cardio class! Yay~
We ran and jumped and walked and ran and jumped, you get the picture... good workout!~ Oh yeah, remember how I missed class on Tuesday... so did Angi, she overslept so the ladies that showed up, worked out on their own, good job girls, but how funny that the instructor didn't show also!
So, I'm feeling good this morning, coffee is just about done and time for me to get a little nourishment and yeah, y'all have a fantastic Thursday~

Day 44~
Well, today I was supposed to go to my cardio class at 6am. I set my alarm and even got up, to get ready. However, I was super dizzy, and I thought at first I just got up too fast, because that does happen. No I stood still for a couple seconds and started to walk but I had no balance and decided that I would go back to bed, I am still feeling a little dizzy, but not nearly as bad.
I feel bad for not going, but I also thought that if I was dizzy, I pretty much had no business out there trying to run. It was an accident waiting to happen.
So, I'll take it easy today, and hopefully am able to get a good walk in tonight when I get home from work.

Day 43~
I know it's Monday and good morning is sort of a stretch, at least for me. The weekend was rather uneventful, Saturday I worked and after work we went fishing. Yesterday, I drove to Albany to drop Alex with his dad for the week. When I got home, Jason and I went as did a little shopping. We must have walked around Cabelas for about an hour and nearly the same at Walmart! We came home and ate lunch. After that we just tried to stay cool, vegged and watched a movie or 2 and some t.v.
This morning I woke up hot and tired. I didn't want to even get out of bed. I did, finally get out of bed. I made coffee, even though I was hot I wanted coffee, so I opened the kitchen window, hoping that would help! I made Jason's lunch and poured myself a cup of coffee.
Then I pulled my head out and decided to go for my walk. I feel so much better now that I did!! Still a little tired and now I have a reason to be hot and sweaty. I turned on my ipod and just walked, I did my normal route, with a little extension. Looks like it could possibly rain at some point today, pretty cloudy out there. Anyway, I got my walk in and I feel good about it! Hope everyone has a good Monday~

Day 40~
Happy Friday,
I'm off work today, due to having to work Saturday. I have been busy around the house and out and about. Trying to be productive while I am the only one here!! That seems like the only time I get any real cleaning and productivity done!! So I am scooting around the house getting the laundry done and put away! Kitchen cleaned, floors vaccumed, the dreaded bathrooms and whatever else needs done that may side-track me in the process!!!
I have already taken Kadie to the Wash your dog spot! By taking her there I don't have to go out and buy draino for my tub drain!!!
Alex is at the last day of his Day camp. I plan on walking over to pick him up this afternoon, that will be my major excercise for the day, but with the bedrooms upstairs, and it's laundry day... I will be going up and down a lot!! And my buns are a little sore from yesterdays workout running the hill! My family went on a walk with me last night, we had to cut it a little short, my tummy started to not feel super great...
So that's what my day intails, I don't know what the evening will bring, maybe fishing, but Jason's on call for his job this weekend starting tonight, so I guess we'll see!!!

Day 39~
Good Morning, it's Thursday. The week is almost over...
I just got home from today's cardio class! We did interval training...AKA sprints. A lot of the ladies didn't show up this morning, the handful of us that did got in such a good workout! I am doing so much better. I still had to walk some but I also was able to run a lot more. Thanks Angi!!
Time to get ready for my day, coffee is almost done brewing and I need a shower!!

Day 38~
It's Wednesday, How are you all doing?
I feel great! I came home from work last night, made myself a turkey burger with pepperjack cheese and tomato and avacado... it was so delicious! Then I went for my walk... less than steller, but I made it count. What I mean is I had the dog (as much as I didn't want to take her, walks are pretty much the only exercise she gets durring the week) and then Alex asked if he could come. I said fine, he was on his bike so I knew there wouldn't be the lagging behind issue. So I still put my ipod in my ears, made a new playlist with all my fun working out songs, and I was booking it. (at least I felt like I was!) About halfway through, Alex had to go to the bathroom, so he rode back to the house and I walked back as quickly as I could to make sure he got here! My hamstrings were pretty sore so I decided to be done. Remember I had cardio class yesterday morning and I didn't want to push myself so far that I hurt myself. Anyway, I did some ab work when I got home and felt like that made up for the shorter walk. I was all sweaty from the shorter walk because I was trying to keep a steady fast pace the whole time, maybe because I was frusterated at the extra "company" on my walk!!
So I didn't weigh in officially at the beginning of my journey, but I know where I was and I did do a quick weight check about a week in. I just did a weight check, and it appears that I have lost about 10 lbs so far!! I am so pleased right now, I could squeal like a little girl!!! But needless to say, I have a grin on my face about a mile wide!! So I am that much closer to my healthy goal!! Yay Me!

Day 37~
Hey there. Yes I know it's been a couple days, I didn't have anything super exciting to report. Went to the grocery store on Sunday, what a nightmare, but got stocked up on some more healthy foods and snacks!!!Sunday evening I walked and Jason and Alex came along, that was kinda nice. My butt was still hurting from Mt. Pisca!! Then yesterday, I had every intention of getting up and walking, however I set my alarm for 6 and that didn't give me enough time to exercise, get lunches made, get myself ready for work and get Alex over to his camp. I did get a walk in last night, I took Kadie. I am going to have to start going further on my walks, I barely broke a sweat last night and while that is a good thing, I feel like I have actually accomplished something if I am all sweaty at the end!!!
This morning was Cardio class! We ran the trail again, I did so, so much better this time. Angi had us run to the end and then turn around and run the trail back, instead of the street. That way we were all together on the trail rather than spread out all over. I liked it better that way too! The sucky thing about the trail today was... I got stung. Not just once however, twice. 2 separate black stingy bugs one on my right calf and one on my left ankle... jerky, whatever they were. I didn't see what they actually were just that they were black and stuck on me and they were making me hurt... so I batted them off. I'm pretty sure that I'm fine, just a bad way to end a good workout!!!

Day 34~
Woo Hoo!!!
Happy Saturday,
Last night I got in my walk/run after work. My mom asked me yesterday if I wanted to go walk Mt. Pisca with her today, I was hesitant, but I told her I would. I had to remind myself that I was needing to start challenging myself!
Mom, Alex and I walked the mountain this morning and my goodness, what a work out! Alex was a trooper, he did so good, barely out of breath... I remember being a kid and that would not have phased me a bit either!!! However, I am not a kid anymore, I am an overweight 31 year old. I guess I would say I was a trooper as well. Mom stopped when I needed to, I pushed through, the closer to the top, the steeper the terrain and if my 8 year old wasn't there I would have been cussing the dang trail!! Had my water bottle with me and felt quite accomplished when we got to the top!! I was super sweaty though and it's overcast so I got cold quick up there. Then we headed down the mountain, which is almost harder for me that up. Reason being is it puts a lot of pressure on my knees and that hurts!
Anyway I'm glad I did it and proud that I did it!!

Day 32~
Good Morning
It's Thursday, that means cardio class day. We did the same trail again today, only we went the opposite way. We did shave off some time from Tuesday, I was wondering if I was even going to make it. I did!! The hills were definately not my friends today!! My knees are cussing me left and right...

Day 31~
nothing too exciting to report today... got my walk in this evening and again I ran part of the way. I actually set out with intentions of running part of it, and I did fairly well. I didn't wear very good shoes to work today and so my legs hurt a little. Didn't push too hard because I do have my cardio class in the morning.

Day 30~
Okay I made it, finally!!
I had my cardio class this morning at 6am, had to rush home and shower, get breakfast, make sure we all had lunches made and get Alex ready and over to his day camp, then be to work by 8! I made to work with like 5 minutes to spare... that was with stopping for an iced mocha. I didn't get coffee made at home this morning, so I splurged on myself a little.
My cardio class was good. We ran a trail, that we didn't know where it led... it was a good change of scenery. However, it was mostly up hill and I didn't start out breathing correctly. I was mouth breathing, in and out. My throat and lungs hurt so bad by the end of the workout. I wasn't able to correct it either. And since I was in a hurry to get ready for work, didn't drink enough water... I had a nasty cough (sounded like smokers cough) most of the day! I did finally get hydrated.
Oh yeah- I just have to give props to myself- Betty at work brought donuts in today and I didn't have any!! Go me, go me! :)
After work, we went fishing for a couple hours, enough time to catch a bunch of fish, but we only kept a few! And I just got back from an evening walk/run with Kadie. She did much better this evening, than she did the other morning. And yes, I said walk/ run... even after this morning. Especially after this morning I know that I need to step it up a little more so I ran part of what I would normally just walk!!! Trying to build up my stamina so that I can keep improving rather that coming in last in cardio class. I know it's not a race and Angi says to work at your own pace, but I feel like a sloth right now. I have done a month now of mostly just walking. Time to push myself a little futher.

Day 29~
Well, back to the daily grind! My vacation is offically over!
I went swimming yesterday out at my Aunt and Uncle's house, it was good exercise, I swam a few laps and then did a few other exercises as well as play with Alex.
Now it's Monday morning and I am just back from a walk with the the dog this morning. It was an okay one, not great. The route that I took this morning was nearly a mile according to my pedometer. I don't get as good of a workout when I take Kadie, I will probably go without her tonight!
For now, have a great day. I know it's monday, make the most of it!!!

Day 28~4 weeks down!!!!
Wow, it's been 4 weeks of healthier me... This is probably the best thing that I have done for myself! I am feeling so much better and continue to have the best will power that I have ever had! Thank you to all of my supporters. Without you all, this would be extreamly more difficult!!
Yesterday was a busy day, that's why no post! Jason and I went out to Fernridge to Richardson Park where my parents and Alex were camping with some friends. We went to visit and play for the day. I got all sorts of exercise yesterday. We all walked from the campground over to the swimming area on the paved path, played in the water a bit, walked back, Jason fished and I intended on fishing, but I was walking Kadie. Our dog loves fishing... it is quite impossible to fish and have her on the leash at the same time. She tries to chase the lures, bobbers, hook... whatever we are casting out, she thinks she needs to have some part in! So I carried my fishing pole and walked with Kadie while Jason fished!! Then I walked back to camp.
When Gregg and Teena showed up we walked back over to the water. I was carrying Lucas on my shoulders. I had my arms up so that he wouldn't fall off backwards, by the time we got to the water, my arms were on fire from being held up! We played for awhile then went back to camp for dinner.
After dinner, they had cake and ice cream to celebrate some birthdays, it was sweet life cake... I had a weight watchers ice cream sandwich and pretended it was cake!~
I had a fabulous time, it was a beautiful day with family and friends and was still able to make healthy choices!

Day 26~
Okay how many of you noticed that I had day 24 twice?? Yesterday was day 25... Somthing wasn't adding up, I knew that day 28 should be Sunday... Ha Ha, Anyway...
Happy Friday!
I slept in this morning, til about 7... I got up and made the coffee, and Jason's lunch. Then I sat down with my own cup of coffee and relaxed. I know, what? Yes, it's my vacation and I decided to take a moring just to myself!! It was uneventful and fabulous! I watched a little tv and drank 2 cups of coffee, full cups too, not just the normal couple sips I get on the way to the shower or between the shower and getting ready for work!!!
I had a couple things to go out and do this mornng, and decided to go to Target, walked all around target looking at different things, then Alex and I walked down the mall, and back to Target. When we got home we walked down to the basketball courts in our apartment complex, well he skateboarded, but I walked and took Kadie. Shot some hoops and ran after the ball for about 20minutes, then my mom showed up to get Alex, So I walked back to the house. I forgot how much I love playing basketball. It was basically me just out there making random shots, Alex lost interest real quick, but it was a lot of fun!
So yep, Alex is gone for the weekend... again! He is going camping with my mom and dad this weekend. We may go visit tomorrow, but we aren't camping this time.
I intend on going on a good long walk tonight, me and my ipod. I thought it was dead yesterday, it froze and I couldn't get it to do anything... was so sad. Jason reset it for me, (if I knew how, I would have done that!) and I downloaded a bunch more good work out songs. I think that one of my new favorites is by Taio Cruz- dynomite. It's so up beat and fun!! Love my music!!!

Day 25~
Good Morning,
Just got home from my butt kick'n cardio class!! Today we did interval training. Sprints and then an explosive movement like frog jumps or jump squats. More up and down the hill but since we were sprinting, it was a shorter distance! I think I did better today, I was able to run more up hills. Also Angi ran with us today, so that was positive motivation!!
Went fishing with the boys again last night, not as much fun as Monday night, we only caught just a few fish, but I did catch 3 catfish, they were all little so we put them back!! I didn't get a good walk in last night, but with the uneven terrain out at the pond, and my already sore muscles... who am I kidding, I didnt walk last night!!! I was spending quality time with my husband and son and that also helps maintain a healthier me, we weren't sitting in front of the t.v. and that counts!!
I am looking for some quick healthy meals, if you have one that is your favorite please share?!?!

Day 24~
OH MY GOODNESS!!! I can barely walk this morning, my calf and butt muscles are tight!!! but the good kind of tight, the kind you know it's sore, but because what you're doing is working!!! It's from the hill at my class yesterday, and then I was doing housework most of yesterday too, up stairs, down stairs, vacuum, laundry, wash the dog, (I actually fell asleep for about a 1/2 hour in the afternoon) then I did make it on my walk with Kadie last night.
I had to focus on bending my legs when I tried to come downstairs this morning... falling down them would definatly not have been my prefered alternative!! I made the decision not to walk this morning, however, I am going to get some good stretching in and take some ibuprofen to help with the inflamation.
I am hoping that one day this week I can try to make it out to my Aunt's house to swim, if the pool is ready, that is... I love to swim and it's great exercise!!!
But for now I am going to go drink my coffee, and get something to eat. Have a fabulous Wednesday~

Day 23~
Good morning~
Yesterday was pretty uneventful for my first day of vacation. Alex and I just sort of hung out, got a few things done around the house. When Jason got home from work we went out to the pond and went fishing. We all caught fish. I caught the most :) he he! We, however, were out there until 10:00. I didn't get a walk in last night. Unless you count all the trips back and forth to the truck to rebait!!
I got up this morning at 5:30 because today was the first day of my 30 minute "get-er done" cardio class. Holy Jello legs... we ran/walked/walked backwards up and down a pretty steep incline for 1/2 hour. Angi, the class leader, wanted to see where we were at and then at the end of the month we will do it again and see how much improvement we've made. Some of the ladies were animals, I didn't feel very animalistic!! It was fun though, to go work out and have someone there to say good job, or you're almost there! It wasn't fun when I couldn't breathe up and down the hill, but hey that's why I signed up, to help whip me into shape!

Day 22~
Good Monday Morning to you all,
Saturday I worked and then we got into the car and drove to Kent, WA. We went to go pick up Alex from Jason's parents. I didn't get any good exercise in that day. Yesterday we woke up, visited for a couple hours and then got everything packed up and set off for home. I did get a good walk in last night, that made me feel a lot better!
This morning I did get up and take the dog for a walk. Such a beautiful morning... I think it's gonna be a warm one today! I am on vacation this week, so to get up knowing I didn't have to be anywhere, was a little tough this morning, but I did it!!
I started using an app. on my phone called Lose it! I don't know if it will be benificial yet or not, but it's basically a tracker for weight loss goals, you enter your food and exercise and it lets you know how many calories that you have consumed and or have left for the day. I've only used it yesterday so far, we'll see how that goes!
Tomorrow, I start my cardio class at 6am, I am looking forward to it. It will compliment what I am already doing, hopefully for quicker results.
Okay tummy's growling, time for breakfast! Have a great day~

Day 20
Good Morning, it's Saturday!
Yesterday was a good day. I got a lot accomplished at home and went to lunch with my mom. The evening was a great workout. Jason and I went and walked the relay for life. It's put on by the American Cancer Society... We walked at least 2 miles on the track and not to mention walking around lookin at booths and the walk from and to the car!
I am still feeling the burn this morning! Yes!!! I'll be gettng ready for work here soon, and then after work we are headed to Jason's mom and dad's house to pick up Alex!!!! I may not get a post in tomorrow, we will be traveling most of the day...

Day 19~
Happy Friday Everyone!
Yesterday started out kinda bad. I woke up with a headache and didn't go on my walk. I did get in a really good workout Wednesday night though.
Last night when I got home from work, Jason and I decided to go fishing and when we got home he went on a walk with me and the dog!
AND now to Friday... I am off work today and have been doing chores like crazy, trying to get them out of the way so that I don't have to do them when it's hot outside! Plus I work tomorrow and won't get a chance to do them on the weekend, because we will be going up to get Alex!! Jason and I are planning on walking this evening at Relay for Life. Come out and support the cause... Willamette High School in Eugene!!
I was looking in the mirror the other morning and I am starting to see results!!! That is such a fabulous feeling, I am feeling better about myself, which helps in the motivation department!! Okay folks that's if for me have to get back to my Cinderella duties so I can go play!!!! Have a wonderful Day~

Day 17~
Good morning, it's Wednesday,
Got off work at 8:15 last night, and decided to go to the grocery store, probably should have waited maybe one more day. The shelves were so picked over, and they only had 3 of their 800 checkstands open, so I waited in line for 30minutes, no joke, to check out. By the time I got home, and got the groceries in and put away, and ate a bite of dinner, I didn't have time to go out for a walk, so even thought it wasn't rigourous exercise, my trip to the store was last nights workout, a little physical, a lot mental!! Exercising patience in the store is not alway my strong suit!
Got up this morning and got my walk in. It's going to be a beautiful day, at least it is so far!
Time for a shower and breakfast, Have a great day!~

Day 16
Wooo! I just got done with my workout, did the Bootcamp dvd again and added a second session to it. I did the fatburning workout and the abs workout, I need a bigger living room!!! Got a great walk in last night, felt really good about it.
Not too much to report, still doing good with my eating! Pretty proud of myself...

Day 15~
It's Monday,
Yesterday was hot, and I pretty much stayed inside all day. I got way too much sun the day before. Jason went fishing again, and when he got home I told him that I would like to go out to eat because it was too hot to cook. We ended up going to Red Lobster for dinner, we had a gift card that we needed to use! It was really good, I had the 4 course meal that they had on special, so soup, salad, shrimp alfredo, and it came with a dessert... For the first time in 2 weeks, I had chocolate. My dessert was a small brownie and a scoop of ice cream and it was heavenly!!!
After we got home and the food settled and the temp outside had cooled! I went for my walk, I kept it at a pretty steady pace and felt good about the distance and length of time I was gone. Ended up being about 25minutes.
I have been out on my walk this morning as well! Feeling good, a little tired, but good and now my friends it's time to get some breakfast!

Day 14- 2 weeks down!!
Hey There,
As you can see, I didn't post yesterday. I got up early yesterday to see Alex off with grandpa. He's headed camping for a week. They left at quarter to 7am. Then Jason and I got ready for the day and went to Cabelas. We had to pick up and item and he was looking for some specific bobbers that he could replace the one of my brothers he lost a couple weekends ago! We got home and decided to go fishing... I caught my very first catfish. It wasn't very big, but hey. All the rest of the fish we caught were blue gill, we through the small ones back, and by the time we left, we ended up releasing the ones we had in the bucket too, not enough to even try to eat!! THe weather was absolutely fabulous! I got sunburnt as well. Before you start with the that's what they make sunscreen for, I had it on... twice. I obviously missed a couple of spots!
Being out with my husband just spending time together was worth it and me catching more fish than him was also a plus!
Sunday, Sunday, Sunday... I think I am going to mostly veg today, I need to probably stay out of the sun. I will make sure to get a walk in this evening, when it starts to cool off...

Day 12
Happy Friday!!! Got my walk in last night, it was geting dark by the time I got home from work and got a little dinner, so Kadie and I busted out a quick walk around the block. It's amazing how motivating music can be. The last 2 nights I used my ipod on my walks and could feel my tempo change with the music I was listening to!!
I didn't get to be early last night, in fact it was probably later! I watched a movie last night and then went to bed! I felt pretty good when I got up this morning, but it was cold and I curled up on the couch for just a minute... and hour later I heard my husbands alarm go off. Crap!!
Jason called me out too, "you didn't walk this morning did you?"
No I didn't walk, now it was kinda too late, Alex still sleeping, I couldn't go out and get a good walk. Then I remembered- I have workout dvd's that I could use! I had one that was still in the package, lets try the new one! Oh my goodness, It was a "boot camp" oriented. That's what it's called 10 minute boot camp, and there are 5 separate 10 minute workouts. I just did one, but holy moly I feel great! I think I will try to work those in at least once a week, maybe more!
Now I have to get Alex packed for the next week, he's going to Washington, camping with Grandma and Grandpa. Grandpa is coming down to get him tonight and they are leaving in the morning. He's pretty excited!

Day 11
Good morning, how is your week going? It's been a little up and down for me, especially in the work out department! Last night I went for my walk after dinner, and since I hadn't walked yesterday moring, I went longer last night. Put my Ipod on and walked. And I felt fabulous about it!
I think I am going to have to go to bed a little earlier if I am planning on getting up early in the mornings... which I do plan on doing. I am feeling really tired, so I'm not sure that I am getting enough rest.
I walked this morning, was a lot easier once I got the music going. Kadie is mad at me though, I didn't take her with me.
I signed up for a "get-er done" cardio class that will meet tuesdays and thursdays at 6am. Starts in August. Kinda excited, it will be another accountability thing, someone expecting me... need to make sure and show up!

Day 10...
Hey there,
Day nine ended with a bang! I took Alex and Kadie for a walk last night. (well Alex rode his bike) It was a good walk, about 30 minutes and then I did some ab work to make up for not doing it yesterday morning. I am craving chocolate, not gonna give in to tempation though. Alex is so sweet, he helped make a
"healthy" cake for me at his daycare. Well I don't know if it was expecially for me, probably not, but he brought some home. It's carrot cake, not a real big fan. He said it's all healthy except the frostin mom! They make it with applesauce instead of oil! I think I am still going to pass on the cake!
This morning has brought me a super sore knee, so I decided to not walk this morning, but I did to some stretching, some squats, and a little weight work to start working on the guns! They're in there, just need some love!

Day nine ended with a bang! I took Alex and Kadie for a walk last night. Day 9~
Oh boy, I am not feeling it today! Or on second thought maybe I am and that's why I didn't want to get out of bed this morning... I set my alarm for 5:30 this morning and basically hit snooze until about 6. I am tired.
Last night I took the dog for a good walk, I was sweating and everything, then when I was almost back home... "mom are we going on a bike ride? - you promised." Yes I did say we would so droped Kadie at home, sprayed a little WD-40 on some of my rusty bike parts, breaks mainly, and Alex and I went for a bike ride. I did get up and I walked this morning, as unmotivated as I was. It is a grey and gloomy morning here in Springfield this morning, on the positive side at least it didn't rain on me
Time for a good breakfast and cup of coffee.
Still haven't had any candy or chips on breaks at work! This week I could use some, but not gonna cave, standing strong and pushing through it. I think I will take some celery and peanut butter for snack today :)

Day 8
Good Morning, It's monday and I am here for another go at it! I got up early this morning and Kadie and I went for a walk, I walked a little more briskly this morning and got my heart rate up. I tried to stay at that pace, did pretty well. I walked for a little over 20minutes, then when I got home did some ab work for about 5-10min. Feeling good.
I need to get a good quality pedometer, to track my walks...

1 week down!
Saturday ended up with tacos for dinner and I don't know if I was just hungry or hadn't had homemade tacos for a while but they were so good. My brother and sister-in-law were over and after dinner she and I went on a nice walk. She walked Kadie and I pushed my nephew in the stroller. -shout out to Teena- We all watched a movie, it was a good night!
Today I slept in. My body needed it I guess!? I had my breakfast and coffee and just relaxed for a while. When Jason got up we got ready for the day and finished our errands from yesterday. He got his eye exam and new contacts, then we walked the mall a little bit. Our last stop was PetSmart for Alex's fish. Yes, I said fish! He got an aquarium for his birthday and we just got his fish!
Been doing laundry, folding clothes down stairs, putting them away upstairs! Makes for a good glutes workout!
I have to say I am pretty proud of myself. This has been a good week, I stuck with my goals and didn't quit! For the next week I plan to do the same, no garbage snacks at work, no greasy breakfasts exercise every morning and evening in some way, shape or form. For morninging walks, I plan to do some crunches or some sort of ab work when I'm done. I told Alex I might bust out my bike and he and I can go for a ride one night this week. *note to self... need WD-40*

Day 6
Hey everyone,
It's Saturday! Here's the update on yesterday's ice cream choices... I choose to not have ANY ice cream yesterday!
My day today has consisted of productivity so far. My family and I just got home from being out and about. We got my tires rotated on my car, got a new gas cap so that hopefully my check engine light stops coming on everytime I get gas and the attendant doesn't get the cap on just right, when and opend a new checking account so that we can get rid of the retarded bank that we have now, got the oil changed in my car and were on our way to the mall so that my husband could get some new contacts, but he is on call for his job this weekend and got a call before we could get over there.
I didn't get a walk in early this morning. My exercise today will be provided by housework!~ vacuuming, scrubbing toilets, and the tub.... Also Alex and I will be getting over to the grocery store sometime today too!

Day 5-
Happy Friday everyone! I didn't get off work last night until 8, so then I came home and made a little dinner. I was contemplating doing some ab work over going for my walk, but once again Kadie won! She loves the walks she's been getting this week! I have to admit, I have enjoyed them too.
Today's wake up was harder, I have another 8am shift today and therefore the wake up to exercise is about an hour earlier than I would normally be getting up, I did hit snooze twice, but I pulled out of it got up and, went on my walk. Such a beautiful summer morning. It was a little brisk, but sunny and happy out.
I face a challenge at work today... There will be a relay for life fundraiser in the form of an Ice Cream Social. I am trying to justify having an ice cream as a reward for my efforts this week, however, it's all sugar and could be undoing everything I've accomplished so far this week! OH, I just got an idea, we have an ice cream treat cooler at work and I think they have skinny cow ice cream sandwiches, maybe I will have one of those depending on the package info... I will let you know how this one turns out!!!
I think I will add the ab work to the walks next week... couldn't hurt right! Who's with me?

Day 4
My oh my, yesterday was kind of a struggle. Remeber I didn't sleep well the night before (3.5hrs to be exact), but I drug my tired but out for my walk, but at work I was a little irritable and I was still hanging in there pretty well with a good attitude, however I had one customer who mad me so mad, it was really hard to keep my cool. One of those times when you want to tell them "you picked the wrong day, lady".
I forgot my lunch here at home, so I had pretzles and some jerkey for lunch. Still no candy or chips, though!
When I got home from work, I made some dinner and watched a show on TV then went on a nice walk, and guess what... Jason, my husband, went with me. It was a calm quiet night and it was nice to have him with me.
I didn't want to get up this morning. Kadie, the dog, was insistant though! So I got up and we went on our little walk. So day 4 is here and I have stuck to my guns, no cheats.

Day 3
Yesterday went really well. There were mini snickers and chocolate cookies at work yesterday, guess who showed will power and stuck with her no garbage snacks rule... This girl!!!
Oh and I went to the "bootcamp" last night, while yes it was pretty low intensity and I actually did get a good workout in, I guess I was expecting a little more structure. This was more of a game show, which still worked. She had trivia questions and those who got the answer right did one exercise, while those who got it wrong got a different exercise, we played red light, green light, and then a sort of relay game. It was fun just not what I would have expected Bootcamp to be.
I didn't sleep well last night and therefore am extremely tired, and was considering skipping my walk this morning. I didn't though I got up and went, glad i did too. It's a nice morning for a walk!

Day 2
Day 1 was successfull. I didn't snack on candy or chips and I ended my day by taking the dog for another walk. Day 2 is starting off sucessful, I got up and Kadie (my dog) and I walked this morning, I have eaten my bowl of cereal and will soon be in the getting ready for work process! I am especially proud of myself for today... remember yesterday I said getting up in the mornings to exercise is a pretty big thing for me, well today I have to be to work at 8am... I got my butt out of bed to walk at 5:45am... holy moly!!! I am committed to making this work~ Oh yeah and I have that bootcamp tonight. I am excited and nervous for this all at the same time.
My time is ticking down here, so I must leave you to go jump in the shower. My little tip for the day is if you think you need a snack, try drinking a glass of water first... Think healthy thoughts~

Day 1-
Good morning, it's officially day 1 and I got up this morning and took the dog for a walk, was about 30minutes of exercise. I will be doing that every morning and people who know me, know I am not really much of a morning person so getting up to exercise is a pretty big feat! Step 2 NO more McDonald's breakfasts!! (that will save money and lbs). At work I will not purchase candy or chips on my breaks. And I plan to do some sort of physical activity after work every night as well.
A friend of mine invited me to a bootcamp exercise session tomorrow night... I accepted! Hope it doesn't kill me~ She said it's low intensity, so I should be fine...
On a different note, I have so far gotten some good feed back on my goal here and some of you have said you will join too! We can keep eachother accountable for our actions... Exercise in the mornings, a quick walk in the morning or something, don't eat garbage throughout the day, have a heathly snack if you need one, exercise in the evening-do something physical! I will let you know how I do!

Welcome
I have made a goal to become a healthier person. To start, I intend on exercising a lot more and eating a lot less junk food. I guess that is the long and short of making this blog. If I am on here telling anyone who may read this that I am doing something, then it should keep me accountable for acutally doing what I say.
