It's Friday!

 How's it going? Real quick before I head off to work... Got my walk in last night. Thankfully there was a brief break in the rain!  I have been venturing further every time I do go out for a walk in the neighborhood so therefore I am getting more distance and time in as well!  This morning, I did the Power 90 sweat workout with the additional abs!!  Got my healthy lunch packed up and ready to go and as of right now the sun is shining, but I do live in Oregon, give it a few minutes!!  Have a great day~

I'm Back!

I know it's been forever, I sort fell off the wagon as some might say! But, I'm back now. Most everyone knows, but just a quick touch base that I am no longer pregnant. We lost the baby in November. We went in for the ultrasound and found out the baby's heart wasn't beating and was no longer living. Yes it was tough, but we have  overcome it.
Anyway,  I have been working out pretty steadily for the past couple of weeks.  I initially started this blog to keep me accountable to all of you with my actions to become healthier. Well, I am proud to say that I am still on my quest to being healthy. Back in July when I started I was at about 250lbs, (holy wow) and with my latest weigh in I am down to 223lbs.  I wasn't sure I was going to start the blog back up, but I was told that it was a motivation and inspiration to some of the people who were following. So, if I can be that extra motivation that you need.. I will do my best to be here for you!!  
Like I said, I have been making a conscious effort to do some sort of workout, physical activity every day for the last couple weeks.  It has been absolutely fabulous! I am shrinking. I started the Beach Body Power 90 workout last week and the first couple days it kicked my butt! But that's totally what I wanted it to do!! Tonight I skipped power 90 and went for a good walk with Kadie (you all remember Kadie the dog...).  I went a little more than a mile and a half...oh yeah~ :) Well, with nearly 30 lbs gone, I still have a goal weight. My goal is 200lbs. and then when I reach that, I have a bonus goal of 180. but I don't want to put the cart before the horse! I try to only weigh myself once a week. Remember it's not about obsessing about the weight loss, its about getting healthy and feeling great!  Stay with me... We Will be Healthy Together.  Keep active and Eat healthy!!!
